Data protection of the Artisan Registry

In April 2016, the European Parliament approved the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) [Regulation (EU) 2016/679], which entered into force on May 25, 2018.

This regulation tries to offer greater protection with regard to the processing of personal data, forcing greater responsibility for the use made of personal data and increases the security measures of data protection for all natural persons within the company. European Union (EU), regardless of whether the processing takes place in the European Union or not.

One of the most important novelties of the Regulation is that the transfer of data will no longer be understood as an "alleged act" when reflecting personal data to carry out activities with an organization, but rather that this transfer must be "express", that is, it must be granted through a clear affirmative act that evidences a specific, informed and unequivocal declaration of the interested party to admit the processing of personal data for the purposes for which they have been transferred.

With your registration in the Artisan Registry, you transferred personal data, basically for the promotion and dissemination of your workshop on the website www.murciaartesana.com and to keep you informed of all those artisan activities that were interesting for the sector.

However, with the entry into force of the aforementioned regulation, this assignment must be made expressly through the attached sheet that is provided. To do this, you must download said file, complete it in its entirety and send the original file to this General Directorate.

As long as you do not have this express authorization, your data will not appear on the website, nor can you be informed of the activities that may be useful to you.
