El extraordinario espacio del Murcia Craft Center acoge el jueves 13 de junio, a partir de las 20:00 horas, la V edición del PechaKucha Night Murcia organizada por La Lanzadera.
¿Qué es? ¿Quién lo organiza? ¿Cuánta gente participa?
PechaKucha Night, es un festival dedicado a las artes, que regresa a Murcia como un nuevo encuentro multidisciplinar en el cual se mezclan y complementan campos como la artesanía, la arquitectura, el diseño industrial, las artes plásticas y escénicas, la música y la imagen, el cine, la performance, la alimentación, el cómic o la agricultura regenerativa y la educación en un mismo espacio de [inter]acción y sinergia.
PechaKucha se presenta como un formato rápido de exposición de ideas, proyectos, diseños. Como siempre, es de acceso gratuito (hasta completar aforo) y está destinado a todos los públicos.
# 20 imágenes x 20 segundos = 6 minutos + 40 segundos #
En cada sesión, un máximo de 10 presentaciones para mostrar los respectivos proyectos mediante 20 diapositivas (ni una más ni una menos), con la particularidad de que sólo disponen de 20 segundos para explicar cada una de ellas. Los participantes pueden ser profesionales o empresarios, estudiantes o profesores, creativos o innovadores, emprendedores o jubilados… provenientes de diferentes disciplinas.

PechaKucha Night se diferencia de otras citas similares por su formato rápido de puesta en escena, cada ponente tiene menos de siete minutos para exponer su proyecto o idea. El público disfruta de numerosas presentaciones de naturaleza muy diversa en un breve periodo de tiempo: una potente dosis de creatividad comprimida. Al finalizar, las presentaciones dejan paso a un espacio para el encuentro entre los participantes y el público asistente. Es el momento de expandir las redes e interconectarlas, futuros socios, usuarios, colaboradores o patrocinadores pueden comunicarse. El festival da pues la oportunidad a los asistentes de conocer de cerca a los ponentes y plantearles preguntas o comentarios, también disfrutar del ambiente y la música y de conocer nuevas fuentes de inspiración.
PechaKucha es una organización sin ánimo de lucro que busca la promoción de la creatividad actuando de forma local con un alcance global. Ni los participantes ni la organización perciben remuneración alguna por su colaboración en PechaKucha Night Murcia, aunque siempre y cuando los participantes necesiten de traslado, avituallamiento y alojamiento, se tratará de facilitar en la medida de lo posible, gracias a los patrocinios con empresas privadas o públicas. Desde hace 3 años el proyecto está comisariado por la asociación cultural de ámbito nacional La Lanzadera, una plataforma nacida para impulsar proyectos culturales propios y apoyar los de otras asociaciones o colectivos.
The PechaKucha Nights son una idea original de Astrid Klein y Mark Dytham del estudio Klein Dytham architecture. Comenzaron a celebrarse en Tokio en 2003 y actualmente se ha expandido a más de 373 ciudades de todo el mundo, entre ellas Nueva York, Londres, Berlín, Moscú, Vancouver o Rotterdam. En España se realiza de manera oficial en las principales ciudades.
La Lanzadera cultural es la entidad escogida para organizar y promover la licencia PechaKucha Night en Murcia, mediante un acuerdo con PechaKucha international, poniéndose como objetivo llevar a cabo al menos un par de ediciones al año en esta región. Siempre en colaboración con el estudio Sublima, en labores de producción y comunicación.
