THE LORCA CRAFT CENTER HOSTS AN EXHIBITION ON HANDICRAFTS IN REGIONAL COSTUMES

The Lorca Craft Center hosts the exhibition 'The crafts in traditional clothing', which shows scale reproductions of regional costumes from all over the country, with the aim of publicizing the richness of traditional clothing with bobbin lace, cutouts, embroidery and other elements.

The general director of Consumption and Crafts, Sonia Moreno, yesterday opened the exhibition, which is organized by the Spanish Federation of Folklore Groups and the Ministry of Business, Employment, Universities and Spokesperson, and is part of the activities of the VII National Conference Youth Folklore Lorca 2021.

All costumes are faithful copies of original models and are handcrafted. The collection has the edition of a book that explains in detail the clothing and its origin.

The exhibition can be visited until November 5, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. .
