NATIVITIES FROM THE REGION OF MURCIA IN THE REGIONAL CRAFT CENTERS

Next Monday, November 22 at 5:00 p.m. at the Murcia Regional Craft Center, located at Calle Francisco Rabal, 6, there will be a presentation called "Scenography in Nativity Scenes: The case of the Region of Murcia" by María Teresa Marín Torres, Director of the Salzillo Museum in Murcia.

Subsequently, the inauguration of the simultaneous exhibition will take place in the Regional Craft Centers "Nativity Scenes of the Region of Murcia", with the assistance of the General Director of Consumption and Crafts Sonia Moreno Martínez.

In this exhibition, most of the traditional clay nativity scenes officially registered in the artisan register of the Region of Murcia are represented.

As a novelty, in the Regional Craft Center of Murcia they exhibit five sets of nativity scene associations in the Region, specifically, they have ceded their works, the Nativity Scene Association of Fuente Álamo, the Association of Friends of the Nativity Scene of San Javier, the Nativity Scene Association of Lorca , Nativity Scene Association of Yecla and San Francisco de Asís Nativity Scene Association of Jumilla. This exhibition can be visited until January 5.

To conclude this week, on Saturday, November 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Regional Craft Center of Murcia, there will be a nativity scene set design workshop called "Express Ruin Workshop for your Nativity Scene" taught by the Fuente Álamo Nativity Scene Association . This workshop is aimed at the general public who want to get basic notions of this subject and must register by calling 968 35 75 37 or by email to centroartesaniamurcia@salzillosi.com.

The schedule of the Regional Craft Centers of Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca is from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
