THE NEW EDITION OF THE REGIONAL MEAT PIE CONTEST WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 20

The Minister of Business, Employment, Universities and Spokesperson, Valle Miguélez, participated yesterday in the presentation of the new edition of the Regional Meat Pie Contest, which will be held on October 20, and is organized in collaboration with the Regional Association of Entrepreneurs Murcia Pastry (Arepa).

In addition, during the act the new flavors of the artisan sweet 'Murciatone' were shown, with cocoa and hazelnut cream, pistachio and orange cream and candied chestnut.

Miguélez highlighted "the interest of Murcian pastry chefs in innovation, introducing new products that combine tradition with excellent raw materials and innovative techniques".

The 'Murciatone' is a regional initiative promoted by more than thirty artisans grouped in Arepa. The presentation was held at the Regional Craft Center of Murcia, and was accompanied by the only chocolate made by hand in the Region, with the brand 'Cacao Esmuca'.
