The general director of Consumption and Crafts, Sonia Moreno, participated last week in the meeting of the Crafts Observatory, which had not been operational since 2014 and where representatives of the autonomous communities and cities participate, as well as the Organization of Artisans of Spain (OAE)-Oficio y Arte, and the National Craft Reference Center for innovation and experimentation in Vocational Training.
Moreno explained that the main objective is "to share experiences and joint collaboration strategies between those responsible for handicrafts to promote and help the artisan sector."
The Observatory meeting was held at the Galician Center for Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela. Recovering this initiative is part of the European project 'Crafts Code'.
