Nos complace anunciar que dos destacadas artesanas de la Región de Murcia han sido seleccionadas como finalistas en el XXVI Premio Fundación Unicaja de Artesanía. Anabel del Canto, reconocida esmaltadora de arte, y Charo Romero, modista y diseñadora de renombre, verán sus obras exhibidas en la exposición itinerante organizada por la Fundación Unicaja.
La Fundación Unicaja, a través de su Premio de Artesanía, busca reconocer y promover la excelencia en diversas disciplinas artesanales, incluyendo cerámica, cuero, forja, talla en madera, tapices y textiles, y orfebrería-platería.
Anabel del Canto, maestra artesana y técnico superior en artes plásticas, ha desarrollado una destacada carrera en el ámbito del esmaltado artístico, creando piezas únicas que fusionan tradición y modernidad.
Por su parte, Charo Romero, al frente de su atelier, se ha distinguido por confeccionar diseños exclusivos a medida, aportando arte en cada puntada desde 1997.
La exposición itinerante que albergará las obras de estas talentosas artesanas, junto con las de otros premiados y seleccionados, se inauguró en el Centro Cultural Baños Árabes y estará abierta al público hasta el 16 de marzo de 2025.
Esta muestra ofrece una oportunidad única para apreciar la riqueza y diversidad de la artesanía contemporánea, poniendo en valor el trabajo de creadores que mantienen vivas técnicas tradicionales adaptándolas a los gustos actuales.
