El Centro Regional de Artesanía de la capital acogió el jueves 2 de mayo la primera edición de la Pasarela de Artesanía Región de Murcia, donde más de veinte artesanos de moda y complementos inscritos en el registro artesano participaron mostrando sus creaciones ante el lleno total de la sala.
La Pasarela de Artesanía de la Región de Murcia se estrenó el jueves 2 de mayo con dos desfiles de moda y complementos, y una exposición de los productos de los artesanos participantes, en el Centro Regional de Artesanía de Murcia. La pasarela se presenta en el marco de Murcia Pasarela Mediterránea, como un evento con identidad propia que pone en valor el sobresaliente trabajo de los artesanos inscritos en el registro artesano. Una herramienta de promoción que impulsa a la artesanía regional y la destaca aprovechando el escaparate de los desfiles de moda, aportando visibilidad, y una oportunidad para el público de ver en directo y en movimiento las piezas y diseños de los artesanos, gracias a la iniciativa impulsada por la Dirección General de Comercio, Innovación Empresarial e Industrias y Oficios Artesanales, que eleva así a los creadores y diseñadores artesanos y los sitúa como firmas de referencia de la Región en el sector de la moda y las tendencias.
A las 19.15 horas se abrió el Centro de Artesanía y en pocos minutos superó el aforo. A las 19.30 horas arrancó el evento, presentado por la periodista Estefanía García que ofreció algunos detalles y curiosidades de los looks de pasarela y los artesanos participantes; además, recordó que los Centro de Artesanía, tanto el de Murcia como el de Lorca y Cartagena, son espacios abiertos que se pueden visitar durante todo el año, donde adquirir los productos de los artesanos inscritos en el registro. Junto a ella, en el escenario principal se exponían en diversas alturas, unas lámparas artesanales hechas a mano con pulpa de papel 100% reciclado, e inspiradas en la naturaleza, de Miapulpa.
El primer pase estuvo dedicado a las firmas de moda, donde cuatro niños representando a Epekes y Retalicos abrieron la pasarela como auténticos profesionales, seguidos de la artesanía para mayores como Adolfo Ruiz, Charo Romero Atelier, Cris Cober Design, El Arte de Hacer Nudos, Rosana González y Strambótica. Tras este primer desfile, hubo un descanso para poder conocer el centro y realizar los cambios para el siguiente pase, dedicado en esta ocasión a los complementos con Antorcha de Plata, Baging, Carmen Navarro, El
Costurerico por Proyecto Abraham, Gloriaca, Isabel Puig, Juan Guillén, Juana Nicolás, Knae Jewellery, Lola Salinas, La Rita Vintage, Pajaritas con Jota y Tricchi.
Los modelos desfilaron por todo el edificio, en un recorrido con salida desde la plataforma superior de la última planta hacia abajo. Ya en la planta baja las sillas se situaron de forma original para que el público pudiera estar más cerca de las piezas presentadas y poder observarlas con más detalle; así se crearon diversos pasillos entre el público, para acabar con la presentación de todos los diseños en carrusel en la plataforma del escenario principal. Al finalizar los desfiles, los asistentes pudieron disfrutar de un vino rosado de Bodegas Salzillo, bodega que también se encuentra inscrita como artesana.
La peluquería y el maquillaje corrió a cargo de la escuela Susana Caravaca, con una propuesta sobria donde los modelos daban el aspecto de maniquíes. Y además, la pasarela contó con la Escuela Superior de Diseño de la Región de Murcia que puso su granito de arena, donde estudiantes de primero y segundo colaboraron aprendiendo desde dentro.
Esta pasarela promociona el talento de la Región, desde el registro artesano, y lo muestra en este relevante escaparate comercial y en el foco actual de las tendencias.
Los artesanos volverán con otro desfile el sábado 18 de mayo, a las 19 horas, en el Cuartel de Artillería, junto al resto de desfiles de moda de la séptima edición de Murcia Pasarela Mediterránea, con acceso libre y gratuito. Igualmente habrá una exposición de prendas y complementos de artesanos inscritos en el registro en la zona del pop-up store del evento.
Murcia Pasarela Mediterránea pone en valor la cultura de la moda y al talento murciano con acciones multidisciplinares de interés tanto para el público profesional, como para los estudiantes y los seguidores de la moda y las tendencias.
Murcia Pasarela Mediterránea 2024 está organizada por la agencia Lalumier Eventos & Comunicación, con el patrocinio de Ayuntamiento de Murcia, la Concejalía de Cultura y Cuartel de Artillería; la colaboración principal de la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia, Artesanía de la Región de Murcia, el Ayuntamiento de Cartagena, el Ayuntamiento de San Javier y el Consorcio de La Manga. Cuenta además con MG Huertas Auto como firma oficial de automóviles de los días de moda de la Región de Murcia (Official Car); y con la colaboración de Silvia Navarro, la escuela de maquillaje, peluquería y estética Susana Caravaca, la Escuela Superior de Diseño de la Región de Murcia, el Hotel Murcia Rincón de Pepe affiliated by Meliá, y la floristería Bésame Mucho.
