Six entrepreneurs receive, by Info, recognition as Entrepreneurs of the Month

The awarded initiatives range from signage for roads to recycling through the improvement of logistics processes

The Development Institute (Info) has today delivered the diplomas accrediting Entrepreneur of the Month, corresponding to the second and third quarters, to six business projects that focus on very varied practical solutions to respond to technological challenges in everyday life, from traffic , to hearing health, passing through the promotion of the circular economy, among others.

“The business projects that we have been awarding with the distinction of Entrepreneur of the Month for years have evolved remarkably over time. In the first place, the most recent winners involve, for the most part, very sophisticated technological solutions for problems of daily life, such as the secure management of electronic commerce and logistics, an aspect that has served to strengthen sales of the inexhaustible pool of our excellent craftsmen. In addition, in keeping with the times, there is a noticeable tendency to develop business initiatives in the area of health”, points out Sonia Moreno, general director of Consumption and Crafts, who has delivered the awards, at the Craft Center of Murcia.

The winner for April was LONGSEQ (LONGSEQ APPLICATIONS, SL), a technology-based company (spin-off of the University of Murcia) is based on the long sequencing of DNA nanopores for personalized medicine that offers possibilities for clinical diagnosis, for May INTELLIGENT CURB (IE SERVICIOS LEVANTE, SL) company focused on the manufacture and installation of curbs that provide information to the driver by digital and luminous means, while REPLASTIC, specialized in the repair of containers, pallets, and all kinds of plastic container material have been in June.

For the second quarter, in July SKINVITY (SKINVITY, SL) has been the winner with a process that covers the manufacture, distribution, sale and rental of devices and advice for the well-being of the skin with an innovative selection in digital cosmetic technology femtech. In August, BLEECKER (BLEECKER, SL), a company that offers an identification system that facilitates the monitoring and traceability of any element through the use of cameras and visual codes specially designed for use in logistics processes, finally, in September, FLOWGY developers of medical software that integrates all the necessary modules for daily ENT clinical practice in a single tool, combining computational fluid mechanics (CFD) and virtual nasal surgery techniques.

The Entrepreneur of the Month Awards aim to promote the figure of the entrepreneur, promote entrepreneurship in Murcian society, encourage social recognition of entrepreneurs, and foster a positive image of the entrepreneur. Since 2012, the most innovative entrepreneurial initiatives have been awarded, with around 450 projects having been presented to date, with 111 of them winning awards.

The main help that a project can receive at the beginning of its activity is support in making itself known, orientation in search of financing, aid, alliances, and this is found in the organizations of the strategy C(i*MPE) coordinated by INFO. To participate, it is necessary to be constituted for less than 3 years and submit an application, executive summary of the project and canvas model by mail to entrepreneurs@info.carm.es.
