The artisan Antonio Pérez Bayonas, in this exhibition, presents a series of pyrography inspired by the work of the famous Murcian sculptor Francisco Salzillo and which currently has 101 details. Pyrography is a drawing technique that engraves with fire, in this case, on wood, working with the tones of its color and the black of the burn.

This honorary craftsman has been registered in the Craft Registry of the Region of Murcia since 2018 for the activities of painter-draftsman, marqueter, leather embosser and toy maker.

Until 2013, these artisan activities have been carried out in teaching with his students in the Technology area at the CEIP in El Palmar. From then on, the dedication of this artisan becomes more intense and he performs live demonstrations in different artisan markets and exhibitions in various places in the Region of Murcia, in the Cultural Centers of Lorca, Mazarrón and Alhama, in the Fundación Caja Murcia of Torre Pacheco, etc.

This exhibition can be visited at the Murcia Regional Craft Center during the months of June and July.
