Exhibition "Evolution of yesterday and today" by Cerámicas Playá

Rosa María Playa quotes verbatim "This exhibition is the fruit of the work of many years, many ideas saved due to lack of time."

The sample is made up of seven collections called Rosa, Azul, Blanca, Craquee, Vases, Flowers and Plates. All products are intended for sale.

Rosa María Playá has been registered in the Crafts Registry of the Region of Murcia since 1986 as a pottery ceramist. He belongs to the Association of Artisans of Lorca (ARTELOR) and in 1999 he received the Prize for Craftsmanship granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca.

At Cerámicas PLAYA, a company endowed with extensive experience after forty years in the profession, traditional ceramics and pottery are made with typical decoration from the Region of Murcia. They are the second generation of artisans, the ones in charge of continuing to carry this craft everywhere and the third generation is already prepared.

Its traditional pottery is based on the use of a wide range of colors and different shapes, highlighting a large number of fountains of all sizes and an excellent catalog with vases, murals, sink sets, etc. All of them painted by hand and endowed with a very old technique for aging called "craquéele", crackle.

This exhibition can be visited at the Cartagena Regional Crafts Center during the months of August and September, at the Murcia Regional Crafts Center during the months of October and November and will end its journey in December and January at the Regional Crafts Center Lorca crafts.
