The teacher, ANABEL DEL CANTO, is a Higher Technician in Applied Arts, courses in metal engraving and chiselling, a specialist in enamels, registered in the artisan register since 1989, a Master Craftswoman and more than forty years dedicated to teaching.

The duration of the introductory course is a total of 12 hours divided into 4 days. It is practical in its entirety, in which different enamel techniques will be touched: preparation of metal and colors, firing, opaque, transparent and vitrifiable.

The theory will be explained at the same time that the students work or in waiting times required by the application of certain materials, so that they can advance as much as possible in the work.

The necessary materials for the course will be supplied, including the oven for firing the pieces, colors, metal preparation material (scissors, punch files, beaters, etc.), acids, and copper.

The course aims for the student to be able to carry out five pieces, which it is recommended that they not be very large so that they have time to make them, with the possible application of a painting, a jewel or an ornament in a box.
