In the textile decoration workshop course, silk painting technique, taught by the artisan and designer Alfredo Caral, different methods and techniques will be developed for the creation of design effects on different fabrics such as silk, rayon or cotton, through the application of drawings and discoloration among other techniques.

These decoration techniques can be applied to the creation of accessories through the application of special dyes and fixatives.

Number of students: from 4 to 8 students.

Number of hours: 8 hours per month spread over 4 days.

Tuesdays in June.

Materials included to use:

• fabrics
• Invisible ghost markers special for fabrics
• White tail and white gutta
• Special inks for fabrics and silks, minimum 3 colors
• Ink applicators and brushes, 3 units
• 3 brushes in small, medium and large sizes
• Universal frames for support and fixing of fabric and 100 x 100 thumbtacks
• Fabric tensioners

The articles elaborated in this course will be the property of the students once the work is finished.
