A. “EL ROANO CHEESES” BY PEDRO GINER REVERTE.

Located between the fertile fields of Lorca, the EL ROANO cheese factory produces excellent cheeses in a completely traditional way, made with milk from its own goats, of the native Murcian-Granadian breed.

They currently produce more than a dozen different cheeses, among which we must highlight the first blue goat cheese made from raw milk in the Region of Murcia.

Thanks to the fact that its product comes from a quality raw material, the EL ROANO cheese factory won three awards at the 2017 World Cheese Championship and at the 2017/2018 International Goat Cheese Contest, fresh cheese was chosen as one of the best 10 of the contest and the cured cheese obtained the maximum score.

On this occasion, it presents the elaboration of cheeses in an artisanal way and the cream of blue cheese made from raw goat's milk, with a smooth and melting texture in the mouth. Special to pair with jams, a pleasure for the palate.

Among the varieties of cheese they make we find: cured cheeses (their flagship), semi-cured cheeses, blue cheeses, goat cheese rolls and fresh cheeses,

B. “PICARDÍAS DE ABARÁN” BY FRANCISCO JOSÉ HERNÁNDEZ BANEGAS.

Artisan products EL TURRO, more than a company, is a family tradition that has been passed from father to son since 1950, coexisting and evolving at the same time.

Their artisanal work has always been related to the sale and manufacture of candies, typical such as picardías, nougat and typical regional sweets.

The company presents the Picardías de Abarán at this call, since they are a timeless product, and their company has been making them for more than 50 years. These candies are typical in different municipalities of our region, although it is true that due to the commercial boost they have been giving it for years, they are now recognized as Picardías de Abarán, or the Picardías de “El Turro”.

The babydolls are a special candy, each babydoll is unique. Its ingredients are sugar, glucose and water, and a pinch of cream of tartar, an additive that prevents crystallization of the caramel. Once the caramel is made, the toasted hazelnut is added.

Without a doubt, it is one of the artisan products of our region with great media coverage.

C. “PAPRIKA CAKES” BY ANA BELÉN GARCÍA GARCÍA

Dulce Ana is a family business that is part of the initiative to unify artisan recipes with market trends.

They make desserts and sweets for all kinds of events, with special attention to specialized designs for all tastes, and in recent months they have introduced products for vegans and diabetics. They make mille-feuille from Alhameña, real monkeys, carrot cakes, and numerous themed and custom-made desserts.

On this occasion it presents the Torta de Paprika, an elaboration with a very Murcian character, made with wheat flour, virgin olive oil, Murcian paprika, salt, yeast and sugar. Its flavor is delicate and slightly pungent, but with a subtle aromatic point and pleasant on the palate.

It is a product suitable for vegans, without artificial colors, without hydrogenated fats and without palm oil.

D. “LEMON TART” BY MATHIAS FRANCISCO ULYSSE GÓMEZ

Monsieur Gómez's cake shop will be four years old in November, remaining faithful to the principles that guided its birth: making tasty and healthy cakes and quiches in a truly traditional way, favoring local ingredients and those from organic farming.

The lemon cake is the emblem of Monsieur Gómez, the most successful cake that represents the union of the French pastry tradition with the exceptional raw material of the Murcian orchard. It is made with Murcian lemons and organic eggs. Its unmistakable natural flavor, with the right balance of sweet and acid, has conquered the Murcian public. Like all Monsieur Gómez cakes, there is no aroma or colorant, nor industrial preparation in its recipe and its flavor is due exclusively to the natural fruit used: juice and skin.

E. “BEER CHAIR” OF AGRO-FOOD TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER AND INNOVATION SL
