In the Rosa Torres Workshop, created in 1995, scarves, handkerchiefs, fans, kimonos are painted exclusively by hand. Depending on the use to which the garments are intended, it is painted on satin, gauze, velvet. The process is laborious. First it is designed on paper, the drawing is transferred to silk, it is reviewed with gutta and the color is applied with a brush. (The techniques are very varied). After drying, the color is fixed with steam for a few hours. Then comes the washing, ironing and packing. Each piece is unique, and from the moment of its creation it is treated with great care, thinking of pleasing the person who receives it.
