The Craft Center of Murcia offers the possibility of organizing workshops and live demonstrations for groups (schools, institutes, universities, art schools, associations, congressmen, cruise passengers, tourists, tour operators, etc.) with advance notice of 15 days.

The groups in order to comply with the COVID regulations will be of a maximum of 10 students and the cost includes: the trainer, the tools and the raw material. All students will take a piece of crafts made in the workshop taught.

POTTERY WORKSHOP – VERONICA MACCORÍN

Plastic creation workshop where visitors will create their own piece of handmade and personalized pottery, having a direct experience with clay and observing its transformation, acquiring a new language related to trades and arts, recognizing the shapes and use of ceramic containers , its technical and aesthetic characteristics. They also operate an authentic potter's wheel and will become "potters" for a day.

MODELING WORKSHOP – VERONICA MACCORÍN

Plastic creation workshop where the visitor will model a sculpture in clay to express their creativity in a sculptural piece, in an entertaining and didactic way, through textures, volumes, colors and shapes, using modeling tools to create their sketches.

Plastic creation workshop where the visitor will come into contact with the trade of leather goods. The saddler craftsman will give you the materials to make a leather bracelet or keychain, creating your own designs.

BREAD WORKSHOP – MAIQUEZ CONFECTIONERY

Manipulative and practical workshop that allows visitors to learn about the process of making bread in an artisanal way, working with the materials that compose it (flour, sugar, eggs, chocolate), developing the sense of taste, smell, manual dexterity, motor skills and creativity, giving shapes to the dough, to create your bun with different shapes and observing how the ingredients are transformed through its preparation.

TOYS AND JUGGLING WORKSHOP – SERGIO ROS

Manipulative and practical workshop that allows students to learn the process of making toys or juggling in an artisanal way, working with recycled materials, wood, paper, cardboard, depending on the toy they make.

MANUAL BINDING WORKSHOP – FERNANDO MARTÍNEZ

In this workshop the student will learn to make a notebook with the Japanese binding technique. The artisan will teach them to create their own notebook using threads, needles and paper. These items will be decorated with various motifs by the students themselves.

Live demonstration of glass carving where Master Craftsman Pepe Reina will teach the visitor this trade. Each visitor will learn about their professional career and each of them will also be able to take a glass decorated with their name.
